Downloads

PictureSync does not support the download and viewing of photos from the Webshots site. You may instead use our unsupported WBZ Helper utility — click here for more details and to download.

Uploads

PictureSync is a photo-sharing application and will upload your photos (and annotations) to your Webshots account. You can use PictureSync to upload straight away—just drag some images onto the main window and click upload after setting up your account. For further instructions refer to the help window.

Feedback

You can find the latest Webshots news at their blog, where you may also contribute to the discussions. If you have feedback regarding Webshots Desktop and Mac support for downloading and viewing Webshots photos you may send feedback to them directly.

Support

PictureSync requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or 10.4+, you can check your version by choosing 'About This Mac' from the Apple menu. Please refer to the Help menu in PictureSync for additional documentation. If you have any queries do not hesitate to send feedback.

Connection

PictureSync may report connection errors or be unable to verify your account. Such errors appear to be related to issues with network connectivity between your computer and the Webshots server. In you experience these errors repeatedly you will be unable to PictureSync with Webshots (although other services should work). It would however be helpful if you could run our debug utility and send us the log so we can analyse the problem and potentially find a solution.

Note that if you're using P2P software or anything else that transfers large amounts of data and slows down your connection, you would be well advised to stop it until you've finished uploading with PictureSync.
